Hello everybody. In this post I want to talk about
useful tools for your PC. I don’t want to scale these programs and tell you
which one is the best. I just want to give you information what are the useful
programs for your PC. From my personal experience TuneUp utilities has it all.
But unfortunately, to use all of its features you need to pay. So I decided to
find some of the programs which are cheap or free. Sometimes the free software
is more powerful than shareware or commercial software.
I divided this software into a four categories and
they are:
-
System
health tools
-
Cleanup
and stabilization tools
-
Desktop
customization tools
-
Security
1. System
health tools
In this section I am going to give you a list of
useful program that will help you fix problems on operating system, speed up
the way you use Windows, and unlock cool and exciting features you never knew
existed. You don’t have to download them all simultaneously because it will
probably crush your operating system. Try experimenting a little to see all the
options/features of certain programs, and if you don’t like it uninstall it.
In Windows 7 that is the most common operating
software these days you can check you system performance by activating gadget
called “CPU meter”. You can activate this gadget by right clicking on the
desktop and selecting Gadgets. When the window called “Gadget” is open select
CPU meter and the gadget will be shown on you Windows 7 desktop. The gadget
will show you current status of CPU and memory. Of course there is another way.
Click on Start Menu and under Search Programs and Files type Task Manager.
After opening Task Manager click on the card called Performance. On this card
you can see the performance of CPU, CPU Usage History, Memory and Physical
Memory Usage History. For activating Task Manager there is of course another
way. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select Task Manager.
If you want to learn more about your PC health you can
download some of the programs form the internet. The list and descriptions of

Recently I had a problem with a hard disk on Toshiba
laptop. My operating system didn’t start because every time I turned on my
laptop it would restart immediately after choosing the option Start Windows
Normally. After that I tried to run in Safe Mode and tried to return operating
system to System Default using the Toshiba recovering system. Later on I bought
a new HDD and installed Windows 7 but I was intrigued what has happened to my
old HDD. I was searching inter to find a program that will analyze HDD and give
me a feedback. So I stumbled upon “Hard Disk Sentinel” .This program gave me a
detailed information about Performance, Health, Temperature etc. Basically it
gave me detailed information that I need. Since this hard disk had a mechanical
Failure I understood why. Unfortunately the professional version is about $200
but the free trial version is also good if you want to get basic information
about your hard disks.

The TuneUp Utilities is a utility software suite for
Microsoft Windows, designed to help manage, maintain, optimize, configure and
troubleshoot a computer system. But for me the
best thing is TuneUp Utilities 1-Click Maintenance. This application
Cleans you registry, Defragment registry, Remove broke shortcuts, Delete
Temporary files, Optimize system startup and shutdown and Defragments your hard
disks. When you open this application the program analyze your computer in
order to find problems. When the analysis is done he will give you an option to
fix these problems. If you have this program I would suggest that you make this
maintenance each week in order to keep your PC optimized.
You can try this program and test it for 15 days
without obligation but if you want the full version you need to pay $49.95. Or
you can download the crack version from torrent sites.
System Restore is one of the cool features in Windows
operating system because it allows you to restore your system to previous point
where your system functioned properly. Comodo Time Machine offers something even
better- instead of only monitoring certain changes on your system, it monitors

quickly, easily, and with complete confidence. This software is free so if you
want to download it click on: COMODO
TIME MACHINE DOWNLOAD SITE.
Quite simply, this is the simplest and most effective
free tool for connecting remotely to another PC, whether that's your home
machine from work, or a friend's PC that's been playing up. You can even use it
from your iPhone.
If you want to continue working on your programs after
the Windows suddenly restarts the CacheMyWork is a solution for you. CacheMyWork
is a program that saves your current progress in software after installing
updates. Cool app, and its completely free.
This freebie has a whopping 11 monitors, to keep a
beady eye on everything from hardware to software and the internet. Once set up
it monitors in real-time, with a graphic display in the guise of a line graph
and it also stores the results in a database to output as reports. Its
monitoring tools include NetStats, which doesn't just track your network and
internet activity, but also identifies which programs are hogging your
bandwidth. It can track processes, services and installed software too. The
program also has a built-in screensaver, which feeds data from the program into
a series of graphs that display when the screensaver kicks in.
I will post the next category “Clean Up and
Stabilization tools” soon. I will also make a torrent file including all these
programs. In the meantime, enjoy reading my blog. Thanks.
