Microsoft has officially
confirmed that the anticipated upgrade of Windows 8, known under the code name
Blue, carry the Windows 8.1. Upgrade was announced by Tami Reller, Microsoft's
CFO for the Windows division at a conference in Boston. The official
announcement was finally removed and doubts whether Windows Blue is free or
will it be necessary to set aside some money - Windows 8.1 will be for all
users of Windows 8 will be available for free through the Windows Store later
this year. The above applies to Windows RT version, but Reller has not revealed
that newspapers can expect in the upcoming update. The latter will be clearer
from 26 June Build conference in San Francisco, when Microsoft plans to
publicly demonstrate the capabilities of Windows 8.1 in versions for PC and ARM
tablets. Public access should upgrade to Microsoft's plans will be before this
